About
The Kalmia Club's annual Hidden Gardens of Lambertville Tour is a self-guided walking tour that explores the private gardens of our charming community.
The tour begins at the Kalmia Clubhouse (39 York Street) where you will pick up your tickets and program booklet between 10am to 3:30pm.
Please be aware the gardens close at 4pm. This is a rain or shine event.
Proceeds support our scholarship program for local high school girls and further the mission of the Kalmia Club.

How much walking is anticipated for the tour?
The 2026 tour covers approximately 3 miles. We recommend wearing sunscreen, a brimmed hat, comfortable clothing and appropriate walking shoes on the tour.
How long will the tour take?
The amount of time each person spends in a garden will vary as will the time spent in lines to enter a space, especially a smaller garden. It is anticipated the tour could take 3-4 hours.
How many gardens are on the tour?
There are eight (8) gardens on this year’s tour. Five (5) gardens are considered to be ‘within town’ and walkable from the Kalmia Clubhouse at 39 York Street. Three (3) gardens are on Music Mountain/Squad Hill, accessible by car from Alexander Ave or by walking the Russ Lambert Nature Trail from York Street. Taking the nature trail is approximately one additional mile of walking.
Can photographs be taken in the gardens?
Photographs taken for personal use are permitted in the gardens.
Is there a fee for children to attend the garden tour?
Yes, there is a fee for all attendees of the garden tour. There is no age-related price differential; there is simply a pre-sale purchase price and a day-of purchase price.
STROLLERS are not permitted in the gardens due to uneven terrain that may be within.
Can my pet accompany me on the garden tour?
Only service animals are permitted in the gardens on the tour.
Where can we park in Lambertville?
It is sometimes easier to find a parking space in the blocks north of the York St clubhouse. There is also fee-based parking available at Lambertville Station on Bridge St.
Can I get a list of gardens before the tour to plan my route?
Maps are included in the program booklet which is distributed only on tour day between 10:00-3:30. They may be picked up at Kalmia Club 39 York St Lambertville.
Can I get a refund for tickets I purchased but can no longer use?
We do not offer refunds of tickets for the garden tour event.
Can I smoke while walking through gardens?
Smoking is NOT permitted in any building or outside area on the tour.
What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event. Please come prepared.

▶ Giving Tap at Invertase Brewery to benefit Kalmia Club
Invertase Brewery (80 Lambert Lane) will host a Giving Tap the weekend of the Garden Tour. They will give 10% of the proceeds from their Bohemian Pilsner Fox Paws tap pours on June 12, 13, 14 to the club.
Hosting a native plant sale on June 13 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Mary Sheridan Park (next to the Kalmia clubhouse).
Offering Hidden Gardens of Lambertville ticket holders 10% off of their entire purchase at the store on June 13. Additionally, the shop will donate 10% of this day's sales to The Kalmia Club. A current plant list is available by emailing MyBackyardAtNectars@yahoo.com. Shop this native and pollinator-friendly garden center at 1600 River Road, Titusville, NJ from 10 AM -5 PM.

Cash, Check, Venmo, or PayPal/credit card accepted. A small service fee will be applied to online and Venmo payments.
Advance Tickets - $30
Advance Ticket sales end on June 12 at 3pm.
Available online, via credit card or PayPal. A small service fee will be applied. Please PRINT or take a SCREENSHOT of your email confirmation from PayPal as proof of purchase and present it at check-in.
Available via cash/check at Bucks on Bridge (25 Bridge Street) through June 11- make check made out to Kalmia Club.
