2026 Kalmia Club Adult Continuing Education Scholarship

    • A single award, up to $10,000, to a woman, age 22 years or older, living in the South Hunterdon or New Hope Solebury school district

    • Scholarship is offered for continuing education whether that be college (2 or 4 year), vocational-technical school, degree or certificate program

    • Award will be paid directly to the school or program office

  • The Kalmia Club seeks to award our scholarship to a woman, age 22 years and above, that represents our scholarship ethos of IMPACT. Each letter of the IMPACT acronym represents a characteristic or spirit of culture that we are looking for in a

    candidate:

    I - Inspiration

    M- Motivation

    P - Perseverance

    A- Aspirations

    C- Community

    T – Transformation

  • A. Complete the application form (see below).

    B. In addition to the application, candidates must answer the following three questions with a short, concise answer no more than 500 words each:

    1. What person, idea, or experience most inspires you to make a difference, and why? If choosing a person, please select someone other than a teacher or family member.

    2. Think about a moment when you wanted to give up, but instead persevered. What did you learn about yourself through that experience?

    3. What are your educational goals and how do they connect with your personal or professional aspirations?

    We will also conduct a face to face (f2f) interview with selected applicants. Questions at the f2f interview will be around the applicant’s motivations, community engagement and transformation.

Please complete this application by typing in the information to the best of your ability. This application will be reviewed by the Kalmia Club Scholarship Committee along with the answers to the three IMPACT questions.

There will also be a face-to-face interview. The Kalmia Club Scholarship Committee will make the decision on the scholarship recipient.

NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT DATE.
