Traditional Naturopath and graduate of the Trinity College of Natural Health, Valarie Haag with partner Ian Haag, discuss how crystals and sound healing can be used for overall balance and relaxation. A group guided meditation with quartz crystal singing bowls, Native American flutes and more. Afterwards, there will be a question and answer period.

Historians and authors Barbara (past president 1983-1985) and John Hencheck take us on a journey through history via a pivotal byway in what is now the southern part of Hunterdon County. Using primary documentation from 1741-1798, the Henchecks provide invaluable insight into this important road that will illuminate how well organized the county was during the late 18th century. Book will be for sale before and after the presentation.

Club member Ute Arnold leads a participatory silk-painting workshop. Depending on attendance, members will create either two group scarves or a large wall hanging to be raffled off at the Hidden Garden Tour in June. Painting on silk can be a magical experience, with brilliant dyes applied by brush to create a one-of-a-kind design. Textile dyes and silk are provided. Be sure to bring an apron!

It includes tips for shoppers about how to obtain the best bargains, as well as suggestions for vendors on displaying their items and where to buy merchandise at huge discounts.
